Beneficiaries
PeoplePaddle is
designed to allow not-for-profit organizations recruit paddlers who
will "champion" their cause. The paddling "champions" register to
paddle and to select a not-for-profit for which to raise pledges
online. Healing Waters, our host organization, retains 15% to cover
event expenses and additional liability insurance, then sends 85% of
pledges to
the championed not-for-profits after the event.
This list is subject to change at any time solely at the discretion of
the event management. AIDS Service Organizations currently listed
as eligible to receive funds from People Paddle include:
