Perfect for beginners or old time paddlers alike.  Paddle along the spectacular San Francisco waterfront.

  • 10am - Launch at Pier 40
  • Paddle to McCovey Cove.
  • Paddle under Lefty O'Doul Drawbridge, up Mission Creek, then turn around and paddle back to McCovey Cove.
  • Raft up with hundreds of your friends and prepare for a photo op from the drawbridge.
  • 1pm - Raft Up Head back to Pier 40 for the big People Paddle After Party..
  • NOTE: Courses are subject to change or cancellation based on weather, resources, permits, or the decision of the People Paddle crew. We reserve the right to refuse service to any participant for any reason.  All paddlers must wear U.S. Coast Guard approved PFD (Personal Floation Device).

    Pier 40, San Francisco. WARNING: Piers in San Francisco are even numbers south of the Bay Bridge and odd numbers north of the Bay Bridge. Pier 40 is NOT next to Pier 39!  Pier 40 is between Pier 38 and Giant's Stadium.
